After Finishing Shooting Xiaoyu and Sudong’s pre-Wedding pictures all over Beijing today (I’ll post some pictures here or on facebook later) we still went out for drinks with friends. This is the crazy chinese life. We started shooting at 6 a.m. this morning, finished at 8 p.m., had dinner with Xiaoyu and Sudong and then we hit the bars at west chaoyang park in the solana bar street. I am always amazed at how Chinese people keep up this pace everyday – work, party and maybe sleep for 4 hours a night.
Then again this bar is so nice that it’s easy to keep going. Next to a lake of chaoyang park, with great mild weather (unusual for this time of the year in Beijing) it’s quite pleasant to sip champagne and smoke a cigar under the humming night sky of the Chinese capital. Who needs sleep anyway…
