Here is totally different outlook on photography for you… I saw an art project by a norwegian photographer at the photographers gallery a couple of years back (too bad I can´t remember the name any more) who put the project together solely based on found, discarded family photos. He managed to find thousands and it painted a stark, fascinating and also deeply disturbing picture of Norwegian society. So while it´s easy to dismiss these as strange moments I think that there is a unique magic about images like this. They have an intimacy and show something that a professional photographer could never capture.
Many people make laugh about the pictures in the comments – it´s too easy to do that and it´s too easy not to see the real meaning if this way.
