That I absolutely friggin’ love opera?
Just finished watching a performance of “Le Nozze di Figaro” at the Vienna Opera (Staatsoper) and as always I felt that there is something so incredibly special about Mozart – he´s my pal, he´s always been there for me in times of need.
I must have listened to a recording of this opera at least 100 times but this can never capture the incredible magic of live opera. There’s a very powerful harmony to the live opera experience that just doesn’t come accross in a recording
